# 2026 Ottoneu Prestige League

The 2026 edition of the [Ottoneu Prestige League](https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/opl/) (OPL) will start taking entries today, March 1, at 10am ET.
OPL is a 240-team best-ball tournament that uses a slightly modified version of your qualified Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball roster. Only teams in 12-team leagues without custom rules that finished top 6 in the previous season are qualified. Each team in your league must have a manager in order to enter. There are unique prizes and OPL adds an entire layer of strategy to the Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball season.
No early starts to the season this year! The calendar for 2026 OPL will be as follows:
- March 25: Start of first round
- April 23: Roster update
- May 14: Start of second round, 70 teams eliminated and rosters updated
- June 11: Start of third round, 70 teams eliminated and rosters updated
- July 15: Start of playoffs, 68 teams eliminated and final roster update
[The rules](https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/opl/rules) reflect these dates. Please let me know if you see anything wrong or have any questions. The prize structure remains in place, including the opportunity limited to entrants to get the 2026 OPL t-shirt.
Once there are 150 teams in the 2026 OPL, the tournament is guaranteed to take place. OPL has filled up every year, so I would recommend joining as soon as possible. I would also recommend [Ottoneu Slack](https://community.ottoneu.com/t/ottoneu-on-slack/5774) as a great OPL resource.

OPL signups are live. This is the first year I am not eligible for OPL, so please let me know if the payment flow is wonky or anything like that.

We have 150 entries in to the 2026 Ottoneu Prestige League. That is the threshold that guarantees the tournament will take place.

Hey, my first year playing the OPL. Do the t-shirts show up in the shop after the league starts? I clicked generate coupon, but only saw the 2022 shirt when it brought up the shop. Thanks!

Yeah they aren’t active yet. You can’t buy them until the OPL season ends. Gotta see how far you go and how much of a discount you get!
