The “Auto News Alliance” league [league 591] has four teams ready for pickup. This is a friendly league and a great place to learn the intricacies of Ottoneu. Available teams are:

Dublin Angels: formerly Launch Angels (great name!), a stacked team, ready for the draft, includes Gunnar Henderson, Jarren Duran, Seija Suzuki, Freddie Freeman, Dylan Cease, Max Fried, etc. $106 free cap space.

Sleepless in Seattle: has been stockpiling young position players and has a very strong set of pitchers. Position players include: Profar, Alonso, Josh Naylor, Luis Robert, plus prospects Roman Anthony, Walker Jenkins, Jett Williams. Pitchers: Skubal, Alcantara, and a stable of SPs and RPs. Lots of cap ($187) to use at the annual draft.

Wonderboy: This would be The Natural team I’d be tempted to pick up. It’s not been prepared for the annual draft, so some players to cut, but a lot of good players and bounce back candidates: Correa, O’Neill, Riley, Yandy Diaz, Jung Hoo Lee, plus Webb, King, Gausman, Blanco, and a set of RPs with high pt potential.

Pete’s Revenge: The previous owner has set up this team nicely for a good year. $130 cap to spend. Position players: Heliot Ramos, Tovar, Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh, Royce Lewis, Josh Jung, plus several good prospects. Pitchers include: Paul Skenes (!!), Freddy Peralta, and Ranger Suarez.

All available teams could win it. Last year’s champion was a first year player. Anything can happen. BTW, new owners get a free set of cuts. We will not draft until all teams have managers.

Go to the Available Teams page, scroll down until you see “Pete’s Revenge.” At the end of that row, there is a claim button. Click on it and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.
