# End of the 2025 Baseball Season megathread

Hi everyone,
Thanks for another great season of Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball. Congratulations to everyone who won their leagues and congrats again to Free Wily Mo Peña for [winning the 2025 OPL](https://community.ottoneu.com/t/2025-ottoneu-prestige-league/15098/9). This thread is your source of information for how the end of this season will go up until arbitration starts on October 15.
**Today, September 29, 2025:** Today is technically the very end of the 2025 season. I’ll run the script that removes pitching points for teams that did not hit IP minimums. I also will figure out why [Six Picks](https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/sixpicks/baseball/) isn’t showing the playoff games yet.
**Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30, 2025:** We will roll over to the 2026 season. This will result in positions being updated, trophies appearing in the trophy case, You can start making changes to your league, including changing the scoring system or doing any division realignment. We will do our final stat correction run for 2025. This will give us final standings for the 2025 season - please review and email [help@ottoneu.com](mailto:help@ottoneu.com) if you have any questions or concerns!
**Thursday, October 2, 2025:** Prizes will be distributed for OPL and Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball. You can renew your team in any sport out of your prize balance, or withdraw via check or secure bank transfer. OPL t-shirts and the bat will be in the store.
**Monday, October 6, 2025:** Year end stuff! Cap penalties and loans will be removed, and salary increases will be applied.
**October 15:** Arbitration opens until 11:59pm ET on November 14
Please post to the [relevant Badge thread](https://community.ottoneu.com/c/ottoneu-fantasy/earn-badges/40) if you believe you’ve earned a badge over the past season. There is no real statute of limitations, so feel free to post about any of them. Applying badges is manual and I’m way behind, so please make it as easy as possible on me - if any badge requests are for multiple users, please include the relevant user names, and please link to the relevant Standings or Daily Stats page with as much detail as possible.
[Last year](https://community.ottoneu.com/t/end-of-the-2024-baseball-season-megathread/14609) had a couple small hiccups but I believe I’ve addressed those issues and we should be good to go this year. Two quick updates:
1. Prizes will be tomorrow, as I had a couple of roto leagues with issues with pitching points not being deducted that I need to examine.

League and OPL prizes have been distributed.
With your prizes you can:
1. Renew your teams across any sport
2. Withdraw via Paydala ACH bank transfer
3. Withdraw via mailed check

We gave far too much in OPL prizes so I have temporarily removed all OPL cash prizes. I should be able to resend OPL prizes later today or early tomorrow.
**UPDATE:** Any attempts to withdraw prizes that included OPL prizes have been canceled and OPL prizes for 2025 have been re-sent with the correct amounts. A couple of you that attempted to withdraw incorrect OPL prizes are now missing league prizes, but I will be able to resolve that later. Email me at [help@ottoneu.com](mailto:help@ottoneu.com) if you have any specific questions. Thank you to the people who pointed out the incorrect OPL prize amounts before attempting to withdraw any money!

No rush but any idea the timing of the paper checks? I did not get any confirmation when I requested it. Not worried at all just curious how soon I should be expecting it in the mail. Thanks!

Two quick updates:
1. Chase DeLauter was incorrectly given a $2 increase this morning. That has been reduced by $1.
2. Paydala has identified a potential issue with withdrawals and plan on releasing a fix sometime tomorrow. I will update when that is live.
