# H2H Categories coming to Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball in 2027

For the first time since [adding H2H in 2018](https://community.ottoneu.com/t/head-to-head-scoring-coming-to-ottoneu-fantasy-baseball-in-2018/2669), Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball is going to have a new scoring format for the 2027 season: H2H Categories!

We’re adding 4x4 and 5x5 as weekly H2H options next season. These options will have all the other H2H-specific features: multiple matchups, 2 SP slots or a GS cap, and they will be available for leagues who want to use H2H Category scoring in the playoffs.

I looked at what the FG Staff League’s final would have looked like if it was scored 5x5 as part of testing:

The tiebreaker for H2H categories will be the original Roto tiebreaker, which is pitching outs (3 \* IP) + AB.

I think H2H category scoring will be a fun new twist for Ottoneu. These leagues are increasingly popular and, from my limited basketball experience, very engaging. Let me know what you think!
