I totally dropped the ball for the basketball league I commission and myself plus five teams did not complete arb. Usually I’m on this stuff but we just had a baby and it fell off my plate entirely.
Is it possible to reopen arb for this league only? Or are we just cooked because of my dropped ball?
You have a 3rd option - can’t really reopen arb, but you as commish can 100% adjust player salaries. So, I’d recommend setting up a Google Sheet and letting people enter some arb and see if you can knock those out manually.
It’s not ideal, but re-opening arb is just not possible - global deadline.
Let me know if you need any guidance / help with this, I’m sure we can come up with a guide or something that other people would use in the future.
Yeah I was thinking about something like this in the event it wasn’t possible to do in-platform. I’d appreciate whatever help you can provide here just to make sure I capture all the relevant data and limitations of the arb process.

Main rules:
- $3 max per team
- $1-$3 for any given player
- $25 total budget to spend
So you could give someone a sheet and ask them to put in Team Name, Player Name, Amount (1-3), and just quick check it to make sure no more than $3 was given to one team or one player and $25 total was spent on the dot. Really bare bones way to do it.
While I’m thinking about this, I’d also like to say I really encourage you to get the manual arb in there, even if it delays making trades for a week - arb is really important for your league’s balance and I encourage anyone who has missed arb to spend a little time fixing it manually instead of just totally skipping it.
