Hey all, wanted to let you know that my values calculator has been turned back on and updated for this season. I’m still working through some kinks with pulling the data automatically as Hashtag Basketball moved their minutes projections behind a paywall, so it may not update daily, but I hope to get that resolved before the season starts.

FWIW it appears the YTD values on the main page are double-counting some games or something. Not quite sure why, but if you go to the historical stats page and filter for the 2024-25 season, then you’ll get the correct values.
Thank you very much for maintaining this valuation chart for so many years. It’s still the best tool I’ve found to try to approximate value in Ottoneu categories.

So YTD is 24-25 values, right? What is the difference between ROS and Current values right now?
Yes, the YTD values are covering the previous season right now. That will automatically change once this regular season starts. But as I mentioned before, there’s some sort of double counting happening right now for the values on the main page and the historical stats page should be used instead.
The current values are derived from DARKO’s current minutes projections, which are their projection for what a player would play “today” while the ROS values use the ROS minutes from hashtagbasketball. So for example, Kyrie would be projected for 0 current minutes due to his injury but is projected by hashtagbasketball for 265 ROS minutes since he’ll return before the end of the season. Not the best example since either way he projects for $0, but hopefully it explains it well enough. You can also check the glossary for more info.
I’ve added ROS projected trad FPPG and simple FPPG to the main page, as well as the projected ROS games, fwiw. Cats ROS values are on the categories breakdown page.
