2025 Ottoneu meetups

It’s been a while since I’ve done any Ottoneu meetups, and this year I think would be a good year to get out there and get some of the community together. I plan on adding to this list, but I have 3 tentative meetups planned, and I’d love to hear if there’s interest in what I have planned or in any additional locations.

I’m going to be in Cleveland, Ohio on Thursday, June 12 and am planning to post up at a bar downtown near the ballpark (off day). I’ll share location details closer to the date.

From there I will be in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, June 14 around 4pm local time, near the Mariners ballpark. They have a game at 645pm local time that I plan on going to. Chad Young and Jake Mailhot are both planning to attend this one!

I will continue my trip down to San Francisco, California on Thursday, June 19 in the evening after the ball game, near the Giants ballpark. I’m working on a location but I know that Eno Sarris plans to attend, with potentially some other special guests to be announced.

We will do a Brooklyn meetup in July, but I’m working with David Appelman and some others on nailing down a date.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming to one of these dates on the books or if there’s another place you guys would like to see me show up this summer.

If you did another D.C one I’d be down. The Chinese place you recommended to me has unfortunately closed down :frowning: , I did eat there at least once haha.

I have to imagine I’m not the Ottoneusie…Ottoneuian…(do we have a word?) in Chicago…would definitely attend a meetup

Love that you’re coming to San Francisco on Juneteenth! I’m planning on a doubleheader of sorts that day with Giants vs. Guardians at 1:05pm and then Valkyries vs. Fever at 7pm. Not sure if others will be trying to do this as well, but could be nice to meet somewhere in-between Oracle Park and Chase Center for convenience!

If you’re headed down I5 from Seattle to SF, I’m right in the middle- Medford/Ashland OR. It’s as far south in OR as you can go before you get to CA. Great area. Lmk if you want to meet up for a beer and a game or 2 on the way
