Niv - If you draft someone on the 60IL, will the system allow you to draft 41 players, or will it still stop you at 40?

Auction draft roster limits

The 60-day DL is not considered during the auction draft, so if you have a player on the 60-day DL during the auction draft, they will count against the roster limit. Once the season begins, they no longer will count against the roster limit. So, you will not be able to go over the 40 player limit during the auction draft.

Niv in League 853 we already drafted and I took Garrett Richards who is on the 60 Dl. My roster is currently showing I have the ability to roster 41 players. Is it opening day or end of draft that frees up the spot?

during the draft vs post draft are different. mid-draft you don’t get that roster spot but once the draft is over you do.
