When do we expect the arbitration window to be open? Looking at the NBA’s key dates, would it make sense to open it up right after the NBA draft? Though then it will overlap with NBA free agency and summer league and idk how that should be handled considering there aren’t really similar things in baseball or football. Don’t think I’ve heard of ppl allocating arb to players based on Arizona Fall League or LIDOM results, but could see it happening if someone tears up Summer League.
Arbitration will open on June 1, 2022 and end on July 1, 2022. Arbitration has to end that early so that there can be a long enough offseason before a keeper deadline in mid-to-late August.
