This came up this morning. A team went over their salary cap. They wanted to withdraw a current bid on an in-season auction but they weren’t able to withdraw. I suspect they couldn’t make any changes to the bid at all, which prevented them from entering the 0 dollar bid. They didn’t initiate the auction. I assume the team has to cut players to get below the salary cap before they can do anything, but I want to confirm that for the team.
Yes, you have to cut players before you can edit bids. The team should just get into a legal state.
