In a close basketball match. This is my last day of games. He plays in 1 hour. I tried starting him in both daily and weekly mode, but whenever I go back to the matchup page, he’s on my bench. I think it has something to do with starting Amen Thompson today and him not playing despite being healthy.

I’m not sure if it affected the stats, but Chet now seems to have been automatically moved to the bench after playing his game. Mark Williams can be slotted in now, so I think everything is working ok, but Chet does appear to be on my bench in the matchup page.
I don’t know, you have -4 projected util games so you may want to revisit the whole week and see what you did.
So I think I lost the week no matter what, but I just want to make you aware of what I believe to be a bug somewhere on the site. If you look at the above screenshot and manually count my games played, you’ll see I’m at 30, not 34. You’ll also see that Chet already played his game (at 3:30pm) and so did Amen. I took that screenshot around 8pm, long after I would think the system should’ve refunded me the Amen game. Later last night, Chet’s stats were removed from my final totals well after he played his game. Seeing as he played so early, I couldn’t have possibly moved him to the bench myself because he was locked into my starting lineup.
Like I said, I lost the week no matter what, but I think this could be important to look into for the future.

Looks like you have (as you said!) one more game at Util remaining. I’m going to move Chet into that spot because of this thread.
Sounds like the bug was the projected games remaining thinking you were at -4 Util games when you were at 0 Util games. I will look into how you got projected games into that state. If you can recreate projected games being that far below your actual lineup, please let me know and show me the steps you took to make that happen.
Thanks for looking into it. I think I got to -4 because each time I tried to start Mark Williams, it counted as a cumulative util slot. I must’ve tried 4 times I guess

I see - every time you put him at Util, projected went down, but he ALSO got moved to the bench. Ok, I’ll toy around with it!
Just documenting this here to figure out what is going on:
Since this team used all 6 util spots (including Amen Thompson) in one day, there is one part of the site that is auto-benching the 7th guy. When this 7th guy (Chet, Mark Williams, never Amen for some reason) gets benched, it does not fix the Projected Games and is creating quite a mess.
This auto-bench should be smarter and possibly should not exist at all. I’m working on it.

I have for now removed this random extra auto-bench. I am going to see if I can get 7+ players in at Util in a week.
EDIT I’m pretty confident the site will not count the stats from a player at a position once that position is entirely used up. I’ll continue to monitor.
