It would have been considerate for that information to be present where the data is made available instead of: “FanGraphs Depth Chart projections are a combination of ZiPS and Steamer projections with playing time allocated by our staff.”

Please note, the Depth Charts projections do not yet include ZiPS, and won’t until the ZiPS projections are fully released in a couple weeks.
shit. my antivirus blocked multiple phishing attempts from the Fangraphs site, but that relevant information is absent from the projections page.
That description is just the default explanation for the DC projections, they never include ZiPS until ZiPS is available on the projections leaderboard
My point stands. For someone using the resource who does not know when the data is accurately described, notice or withholding of data would be considerate.
That’s not up to anyone here, that’s under the control of the FanGraphs team
