Inaugural "MiLB$0" Prospect Dynasty Draft (LG#836, 2017)

Welcome to the @Dynasty League (836). Looking forward to kicking this off for the long term.

We will not have our standard 40-man auction draft until March, but we will have our first prospect draft in early October. Here are some details:

Eligible MiLB$0 Prospects
In order to leave some valuable prospects for the 40-man auction in March, we will (somewhat arbitrarily) remove the Top 20 prospects in baseball (using Baseball America, July) from the October prospect draft, essentially making them ineligible for MiLB$0 status. All other prospects that meet the requirements in the charter will be available, however. Keep in mind prospects that have at least one MLB PA or IP will not be eligible, so players like Amed Rosario, Rafael Devers, Anthony Alford, Alex Reyes, Tyler Mahle, etc. cannot be drafted in the prospect draft. Since the draft will be held in October, any prospect that gets called up in September and receives 1 PA or IP will not be eligible.

We’ll use this sheet to draft and keep track of MiLB$0 prospects in the league.

Inaugural MiLB$0 Draft Order
All future prospect drafts (3 per season) will be set in reverse order of standings, but for our inaugural prospect draft (October), we’ll use a different (fun) system to set the order.
Each owner will be asked to select one MLB player at each of the following positions:
SP (1)
RP (1)
OF (1)
IF (infield) (1)

Once all owners have selected four players, we’ll track their FGPTS for the week of Monday, September 4th - Sunday, September 11th games. The owner who accumulates the most points from their selected players (see last tab for results) will receive the 1st pick in the draft, and so on. You can’t change your players once you’ve selected them, so choose wisely. Should be a fun week and will lead up to our prospect draft in early October.

We’ve changed this slightly and will eliminate just the Top 12 offensive prospects from the initial MiLB$0 draft. The following players cannot be drafted as MiLB$0 prospects and will essentially be available in the first 40 man Ottoneu auction in the spring (2018):
