Hey Niv,
I noticed when sending a message to the league page, the site requires a manual F5 before the post appears in-browser to the user.
Is there a way to make that tidier that is relatively easy? I’m thinking like an automatic refresh issued by the site when it receives the message. Is that a thing? How do messages even work?
Anyway, thanks. Just a thought.
On both the league home page and on the message board page, the site should automatically add a message sent to the message board once it saves it to the database. I’ve verified that it is working correctly right now.
- What browser are you using?
- Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?
- Have you tried waiting a beat? It only shows the message once it is saved, not immediately.
Thanks for the insight.
- Firefox
- I’ll try that again
- Patience? What’s that?
I’ll try the above (2 and 3) and report back next time I have to send a message.

I’m following up here because I just had this issue myself in production. It might be related to HTML being in the message board message, I’m not sure. Will investigate more. It is inconsistent.

Alright I found this bug and squashed it. It was related to user timezones of all things.
