I’ve been doing baseball and football for over 5 years. I love both platforms and have always wondered why there are a few more features on the baseball side than baseball. Features that seem like they should be hopefully straight forward to pull in. Understood if it’s way more complex, but personally would find it incredibly valuable if these could be added to football site.
Average Salaries in Baseball vs Average Values in Football: In Baseball, there is average, median, maximum and last 10. However, ottoneu has min, max, and last 30 days. Is it possible to add Last 10 adds as well?
Is it possible to add median salary too?
On player page, baseball shows you all league average salary and median salary. Football only shows avg salary.
On player page, baseball shows you change in Roster % over 7 day and 30 day? I know football tends not to move as often, but still think it could be helpful
For all the other questions, I’ve gave them consideration when I was adding trend information. However, the sample sizes for football just aren’t large enough to make any of those numbers meaningfully different. There are 52 active football leagues and almost 400 active baseball leagues, for reference.
EDIT: Actually you’re right, Median is probably valuable to look into adding. I’ll check that out. Last 10 is just not helpful in football given its current size.
Thanks Niv, i appreciate the quick response as always and glad to hear about the 30-day trends and median values. I didn’t realize football was still so small, makes sense on less meaningful at that size. It’s a shame more people haven’t caught on yet!
