Pretty strange that he’s showing up as being on the spring training team. I’ll look into it. Probably a cache thing.
Kyle Stowers is a real weird one.
He had a rehab assignment, played in the game on September 5 in AAA and re-aggravated his injury and then didn’t play again all year. That means we treat him as a minor leaguer, since the last game he played was in the minors. Pretty weird edge case, but I think this is actually the site acting as expected.
You can see that FanGraphs also has him as a AAA player.
Really weird one.
