Due to some personal issues, we have one open team in our Fangraphs Points League, Pesapallo. This is a third year league with a pretty active owner group.

I’m interested, however, I’ve never played Ottoneu before and I will admit it seems a bit overwhelming. All I’ve played is yahoo 12t h2h cats. I’m a baseball fan and Ottoneu appeals to my analytical side but since I’m a rookie I don’t understand a lot about metrics and predicting breakouts or anything. It interests me quite a bit and I would like to learn. I don’t want to offend anyone and if this isn’t the best place to start that’s fine I would listen to any advice you have to offer. I know a lot of the competitive leagues don’t like inexperienced owners.
