Looking to move Miguel Amaya and few other players for an SP upgrade, the free agent market hasn’t been kind. If you’re interested in Amaya or are looking to move an SP, let me know.

(Dallas, TX) The Milwaukee Milkshakes are pleased to announce a trade with Nashville:

Nightcaps send:
C Miguel Amaya
OF Ka’ai Tom
$500k cash
Milkshakes send:
IF Marco Luciano
P Patrick Sandoval

Luciano and Sandoval will be missed, and Milwaukee wishes each of them the very best. The Milkshakes found their catcher of the future, and will hope he can provide contributions in 2021 as well.

This trade marks the second significant transaction of this winter meetings for Milwaukee following yesterday’s acquisition of “Star” (again, not my words) 1B Renato Nunez. When asked if they have won the winter meeting so far, mmaude responded “the only winning that matters to me is winning in late September / the first week in October”

The New Orleans Simules have agreed to a swap with the great Cleveland Spiders organization.

Cleveland Receives:
Mark Canha (salary retained 15%);
Ryan Pressly;
Carson Montgomery;
Xavier Edwards;
Mike Thorston

New Orleans Receives:
Alejandro Torres**;
Gunnar Henderson;
Marcus Wilson;
All that salary relief

Simules GM and Manager MikeLikesBaseball was seen at the back of the GM Winter Meetings stuffing wads of cash into the back of an old Ford station wagon.

Asked for comment, the rosy cheeked simulated manager staggered to the interviewer. Placing his arm around the reporters shoulder and smelling of liquor, MikeLikesBaseball jubilantly cried out “it’s all about the Benjamin’s baby!”

@chy924 to confirm

EDIT: I put the incorrect first name On Alejandro Torres in the trade on the first pass. Chad to initial, please.

Fresno needs to update their trade block:

C Wilson Ramos - 3.8 WAR in 2020 (2nd highest among catchers). Willing to retain as much salary as needed, but asking price goes up accordingly.

SP’s: Alex Reyes, Brent Suter, De Leon
RP’s: I have a ton, need to move some. Clouse, Bracho, Brennan and would discuss higher end options as well including Brothers, Kela, Costa, McKay, and Givens.

I am in search of upgrades at 2B, RF, LF, or higher end SP’s or RP’s. Willing to trade Garrett Cooper or Tsutsogo in return for an outfield upgrade.

New save file is up. I’ll have the website updated later tonight.

Our Winter Meetings are over and there has been frustratingly little movement in the FA market. A couple of top guys have signed but the majority of the big names are still FAs.

We can’t sim the off-season one day at a time in order to allow everyone to (effectively) cilck +1 on their bid. Everyone has had a good amount of time to progress their offers and feel out their comfort levels and it is time to move a little bit forward. However, I believe now that we are out of Winter Meetings, the player feedback won’t be coming every single day and the chance of someone missing out on a counter is lower than it was during and leading up to the Winter Meetings. We’ll have to test that theory.

Tonight we will be simming 2 days, to the 29th in-game. If we sim 2 more days on Friday, we will be on the “start” of December 1 and our Rule 5 draft. On Saturday we will sim our Rule 5 draft as part of a 3-day sim; we will be moving to 3 day sims at that point unless there is overwhelming evidence that we shouldn’t be moving that fast.

I’m hoping that by the end of December in-game we can start moving 7 days at a time, and that we can sim from the end of January to the start of Spring Training all at once.
