In my league (264), our draft ended with a selection of Jaxson Dart—only he had already been on another league team. Even his player profile shows add / increase / increase / add. No cut or move.
As commish, I need to do something to fix this. Have you encountered this data peculiarly previously?
Thank you, Niv. I emailed details and a screenshot to help@ … but I’m guessing now it is a dynasty renewal issue. I discovered that the team which drafted Dart was able to renew his dynasty; the team that had Dart going into the draft has not yet been able to renew while we await the processor’s update.
Saw your email, will make sure to reply and help you clear it up. Renewals and rosters have nothing to do with each other, so I don’t think that is it.
We have another instance of a NYG player being auctioned … when he’s already on a team. In this case, on October 8, a league member secured TE Theo Johnson in an auction. Yet, on October 9, someone auctioned him again. He had not been cut. He still shows on the team that won him (and his record of add/increase/cut still shows him as a player on that league team). Previously, we had to deal with Jaxson Dart being auctioned when he was already on a team. Any idea how this is occurring? The team in question is paid for the season, so it is not a data issue related to manager payment status.
Did you tweak anything? The auction for Theo Johnson ended on October 8 at 12:25 pm and a new one began on October 9 at maybe 11:50 am…but NOW I don’t see it in the auction queue. It’s gone.
I have left a question for the league to see if we can find who re-auctioned him. I’m left wondering if somehow they were able to cancel it (if you didn’t find a stop). Gremlins!
Thank you, Niv! The two instances we’ve had have been from two different managers. So it is weird. I will also check when our next auction clears if maybe there’s a limited window, like some sort of Schroedinger’s Auction in which for a period of time a player exists in both claimed and available spaces. Cheers!
