Just drafted my team for home league and signed up for OPL. Drafted Buehler who is on the 60day IL, and picked up Stott to replace him and figured he would be available for OPL. On my roster page it says Stott is Projected to “Miss OPL Snapshot”. My current roster is 41 of 41 with the 60 day IL. Does this mean I will never be able to have a full 40 man roster for OPL this year as long as I hold Buehler? Seems like 60day IL guys should be excluded from the snapshot.
The rule on this is clearly stated on the rules page:
If an Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball roster is over 40 players in that moment, the OPL system will discard the team’s latest transactions until they are at 40 players.
The site does not consider IL status when building an OPL roster, because IL status can change at any moment for external reasons that are not controlled by Ottoneu. As such, the site takes the first 40 players, per the stated rules.
