Hi Ottoneu community,
I’m sharing a project I’ve been working on for the last two months: “RotoHound” (https://rotohound.com). It was inspired by ~10 years spending countless hours collecting, threading together and updating information to help me win my Ottoneu leagues.
It’s free to use, and I invite you to sign up and connect a league, which should take less than a minute (just insert your league ID), and tell me anything you do or don’t like about it, or that you wish it did.
Including more background below, but feel free to just try it and share your feedback.
Some problems I am trying to solve with this site:
-
Existing fantasy tools are lacking, especially for Ottoneu. Rotowire has auto-import, but doesn’t support player salaries, project standings, or let you upload your own projections. Razzball has a great $ value engine but is firmly in 5x5, $260-salary-cap land. RotoChamp has more of what I wanted, but it’s very time-consuming to maintain unless you have a Yahoo league. FantasyPros also doesn’t have Ottoneu import.
-
Most sites can’t match the flexibility of spreadsheets, but spreadsheets are labor-intensive to build & update, and limited in what they can do. For player evaluation, I would pull projections from FanGraphs, dynasty rankings from Rotowire and Michael Halpern, ADP from NFBC, auction values from FG and Vibbot, and prospect rankings from BA/BP/FG/RW. Plus another two pulls to forecast standings (current standings from Ottoneu and projected standings from RotoChamp). That’s a lot of copy-pasting! And tools like lineup/pickup/trade impact analysis are very hard to implement.
The goal: A single place to upload all of your fantasy resources that populate throughout the site, along with tools to inform every roster decision. Link your leagues with a few keystrokes rather than inputting every player and every salary on every roster. See projected standings and how every transaction or lineup change impacts them. Projections and player value generation built into the site for those who don’t want to upload their own.
While I expanded the site to support other platforms (in part to make my first NFBC entry less daunting), I built this for Ottoneu, and that is where the feature set is richest.
RotoHound is free for the 2026 season. If something breaks or confuses you, that’s my fault, so please let me know.
