Salary increases on the Roster Organizer and two-way players

Great stuff as always - minor glitch here Nolan McLean as a pitcher doesn’t have the $1 increase applied, assume due to him being two way player

Does the hitter version of him have an increase?

Yes sir. League 326

I’m going to mess around with this. I see two problems:

  1. Both “versions” of Nolan McLean should show an increase
  2. That increase should be $2 since he’s in the bigs now.

And of course just because he shows increases in both hitters and pitchers, it doesn’t mean his salary should be double-counted.

Just to add on to this, the pitcher slot of McLean does not count towards the roster total when flipping the toggle to offseason mode, his salary does count the $2 increase in the overall salary but the total next to his name does not reflect the increase in the roster org.

The hitter line shows the $2 increase in salary next to his name but does not increase the overall team salary $2. He also adds to the overall roster total when added to the active roster.

These details are helpful and hopefully I can knock this out today or tomorrow

Finally got around to this and I believe it is fixed.

Looks like the salary increases are broken now.. Cleared history and tried on mobile as well. No rush just a heads up. Thanks!

I only did a real cursory review - could you let me know how they are broken for you?

Oh wow they just aren’t doing anything. Ok, that is NOT what my experience was when I tested this. Back to the drawing board.

This should be fixed for real this time.

No rush here but when I put McLean in a SP slot, it leaves a duplicate McLean on my bench. League 326. Doesn’t really impact the effectiveness of the tool but thought you may want to know

Is he in the hitters bench area or in the pitcher bench area?

It’s all on the pitcher side. I believe the same error occurred when I had one of him in the trade section and one in the sp section

I will check this out.

It should be noted that Nolan McLean has (predictably) lost Util since we’ve rolled over to a new season so I think the underlying bug may be that Roster Organizer is still treating him as a two-way player.

No rush at all, I just wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks again for all you do!

I’ve attempted a change to players who were previously two-way players but no longer have both hitting and pitching eligibility in the roster organizer. I believe this should fix the issues with Nolan McLean specifically. Let me know if not.

Looks good so far, I’ll let you know if I run into anymore issues. Thanks again for all the hard work
