Show players coming off the 60-day DL as a Transaction

This happens at least once a season. My roster goes illegal and when I’m routed to the Cut page, I don’t see the transaction that made it happen.

I think reporting 60-day DL players in the transaction column – both when the enter and when they leave – makes sense since it impacts the roster.

Came here to post the same idea.

This just happened to me yesterday. It’s really hard in this situation to determine how/why a roster become ineligible. I don’t mind when a player goes onto the 60IL. I can see that as I set my daily lineups. It’s when a player comes off the 60IL that’s much more problematic. Some kind of system generated message/notification would be very helpful!

One option is you could use your team notes page and list players on the 60 day IL, that way you can reference that if your team becomes inexplicably illegal.

I understand the frustration here and I’m on board with trying to fix it, but it is technically quite difficult. I’m working on something that can help players understand that someone coming off the 60-day IL might be why your team is no longer legal.

I’m going to try something out, but I am not 100% certain it is going to work. On the cut players page, you’ll now see this box

It will show up below “Your recent transactions” on the right side of the page, or at the bottom of the page on mobile. Players should show up here if they are no longer on the MLB 60IL, and the last time we recorded them being on the 60IL was within 72 hours.

I’ll keep an eye out for how reliable this is, but hopefully it makes the “why am I on the cut page” experience less jarring.

This box now includes players back from suspension or the increasingly irrelevant COVID-19 IL
