Niv, it is Friday, and AJ Brown has been listed as “Out” unexpectedly due to a hamstring issue. SixPicks rosters are already locked because of a game last night. In most fantasy football settings I have played in, full rosters don’t lock at the start of the Thursday game, optioning to a independent player locking as each game starts. I would guess that situations like this are a reason why this is the case.

I know there is nothing I can do about AJ being out - which is a bummer because I’m off to a good start this week! - but I’m curious if you ever considered moving to that system with SixPicks Football?

Yeah, the entire thing with Six Picks is having to pick all your players at the start of the first game of the “period” locking. Like, that’s a big part of the game. That means late scratches are part of the game.

Since the NFL insists on having a single Thursday game and 1-2 Monday games and since single or two-game slates of Six Picks Football are, unlike baseball and basketball, decidedly not fun, Six Picks Football will continue to be a weekly game.
