Progress has definitely been made, but we are still on a journey, not quite to the destination. I hope to have a good update for this thread in the next 2-3 days.
In the meantime, I’ve cleaned up that message to show an actual date instead of a timestamp, and I’ve also extended the payment deadline an additional week.
I’m going to push the football payment deadline another 2 weeks. This is again meant to ensure that everyone has time to renew their teams once credit card processing is back.
I’ve gone ahead and turned Paydala back on for payments. Currently you can only pay using secure bank transfer. For some of you who have withdrawn prizes from Ottoneu to your bank, you should be able to use that same connection.
If you want to wait for credit card payments to be back online to pay, that is totally fine. Once our credit card processing is back online, Paydala will re-enable that option in their client. Our payment deadlines will be modified so that once credit card payments are available, everyone will have at least a week to pay any league fees.
Paydala continues to be a good partner in terms of supporting us and they are doing everything they can to get us back online. I remain in direct contact with their CEO and will update when I know more.
I have touched upon this multiple times in various threads on the forums, but just to be super clear: paying for fantasy sports on the internet is an unreasonably complicated problem right now, but I really believe we will be back up soon.
Thanks for all your work on this, Niv. I’m sorry it’s such a pain. You really do work your ass off so we can all have fun - it occurs to me that everybody else’s distraction is your work, and I really do appreciate that.
I’ve updated the title of this topic to more accurately reflect the current state of things.
We are close to being certified with a new credit card processor and I hope to have an update in the next week. In the meantime, this weekend I will extend the payment deadlines for both football and basketball.

Just for clarification, does “extend everything two weeks” also refer to the keeper deadline? Or is it solely in regards to the payment deadline for team renewals? Thanks!
Our payment platform is continuing to progress towards on-boarding new credit card processors. The development work is mostly done and they are in final testing and awaiting approvals. Timelines are dependent on a number of parties including a bank, so the schedule remains slightly in flux. In the meantime, you can pay for a team out of a prize balance or through the secure bank transfer (ACH) provided by our payment platform.
I’ll update this thread with either a note on extending deadlines for football and basketball or when the credit card processor is online.
In the meantime, if you want to support Ottoneu, please consider buying a t-shirt. If you like Ottoneu Football and want to show some love while we are waiting through this credit card processor mess, a football t-shirt is the most direct support you can give. They are also: super comfy.
Paydala is asking for my bank id and log in password. I do not feel comfortable providing that information. I would like a way to use a credit card rather than exposing my bank account.
