What does "in season" mean in the rules under cutting and adding?

When does the “In season” start? Does it start with first week or is it anytime after the draft?

I ask because: If I start an auction after our draft but before the first week of season, is it a Vickrey auction?

The rules states: “All in-season auctions are Vickrey auctions with blind bidding.”, but when does the season start?

Yes, any time after your auction draft is completed, players are acquired by 48-hour blind vickrey auction.
