When swapping players in the Lineup, move out-of-position player to the bench

This is a simple UI tweak that would be a nice convenience. If I make a lineup change like moving Ian Happ (2B, OF) from MI to the OF slot occupied by Denard Span (OF), the current UI prevents that move. I would prefer the UI to allow the move and automatically move the out-of-position player (Span in this case) to the bench.

This will save a few clicks every time I set lineups.

I’ve explored this a few times. It is annoyingly complicated given the current lineup code, but I do want to address it at some point. Thanks for writing this up.

Thought I’d bump this suggestion. There’s a secondary case I’m seeing this week. I have a player in a position that has maxed out games (say Bobby Dalbec at 1B). I want to switch him to 3B (say for Renato Nunez). It would be great if I could switch them and just get an alert for poor Renato. Instead I need to move Renato to the bench, then move Dalbec into his vacated position.
