I’m looking to add rookies to my wishlist for the draft but I can only find the ones already one rosters or search by their individual name. When I search by rookie FA only it returns no results. Am I doing something wrong?
Who specifically can you not find?
Oh I see now, I think. While you can flirter by college for specific names, you cannot filter by college to just show you every college FA. If you search for just all FAs it shows you all FAs, and you cannot narrow down to just college FAs. Is that right?
If you want to find College FA, you have to
- Select a position (can’t have “All”)
- Change Level to “College”
- Check FA-only
- Hit the Search button
This may go quite slowly (you are pulling every single player from our DB that is in college at a specific position, that is a lot of players) but it should work, eventually.
I think you are more likely to have luck by deciding who you want to add to your watchlist using mock drafts or other outside resources and then picking them specifically, especially since we do not currently have stats for college players.
I’ve confirmed this works for ‘QB’, it took almost 4 minutes
You are way better off just searching for individual players. It takes a long time (5+ minutes) to pull WR or RB and it doesn’t always work. I think it’s just way too much data as Niv indicated.
I wonder if adding a way to also limit by a threshold ownership percentage (say, 10%) might help? As far as populating a list quickly. Really I just want to make sure I’m not letting any rookies accidentally slip off my radar as we approach draft season.
Might be worthwhile for the really big queries. I have some football and basketball stuff to get into now that baseball has started so I’ll add this to the pile.
