I am sure there is a reason the auction is set at 48 hours, and it may even be explained somewhere on the site (I cant find it though). So I am wondering what the reasoning for that timing is.
Thanks,

Ottoneu is market-based and so in-season auctions work best if every team in the league that is interested in a player is able to bid. That is why the in-season auction system is blind Vickrey bidding and also why the auctions are open for 48 hours - a balance between quick enough turnaround on adding a player and long enough to get everyone who is engaged to bid.
Great, thanks for the info!
