The 2026 edition of the Ottoneu Prestige League (OPL) will start taking entries today, March 1, at 10am ET.
OPL is a 240-team best-ball tournament that uses a slightly modified version of your qualified Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball roster. Only teams in 12-team leagues without custom rules that finished top 6 in the previous season are qualified. Each team in your league must have a manager in order to enter. There are unique prizes and OPL adds an entire layer of strategy to the Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball season.
No early starts to the season this year! The calendar for 2026 OPL will be as follows:
- March 25: Start of first round
- April 23: Roster update
- May 14: Start of second round, 70 teams eliminated and rosters updated
- June 11: Start of third round, 70 teams eliminated and rosters updated
- July 15: Start of playoffs, 68 teams eliminated and final roster update

Once there are 150 teams in the 2026 OPL, the tournament is guaranteed to take place. OPL has filled up every year, so I would recommend joining as soon as possible. I would also recommend Ottoneu Slack as a great OPL resource.
