Does the auction draft have to be prior to March 20?

Hello @nivshah,

Our league is NL-only, so we don’t care about the early games March 20/21 between SEA and OAK.

Are we able to complete our auction after those games? Or, is it required that we complete the auction prior to March 20?

The auction draft can start whenever you want - you can definitely wait until after March 20th. Any games that happen before your auction draft is marked as done will not count towards final standings.

Bumping this for folks in my league, as we’re doing a first year auction in late April.

And for new folks who start leagues in the wake of the Washington Post profile.

Is it still true for 2024 that the stats from the opening series in South Korea won’t count if an Ottoneu league waits until after those games to mark its auction as complete?

Yes, that remains true. Either you can set lineups before 3/20 or you can skip those games.

What do you mean exactly when you say “set lineups”? Homepage says you can’t set lineups until auction is complete

You are skipping those games. You cannot retroactively set lineups, you either already drafted and can or you are skipping today and tomorrow games.

Sorry to be super clear: if you draft before 6a ET tomorrow, you can get tomorrow’s game.

Yes we draft tonight. So have to tell the crew today’s game won’t count. Tomorrow’s will. Thanks
