Clarification: where the rules state: “the best ball algorithm will take CURRENT positional eligibility” I took that to mean “current at the time of the snapshot” but now I’m wondering if that’s wrong and “current” means the snapshot is taken and as a player gains positional eligibility in normal Ottoneu play they will get it on the OPL roster?

I’ll use Sal Perez as an example. Will he be ONLY U eligible from the first snapshot to the next one? Or will he gain catcher eligibility for OPL when he gets it for normal Ottoneu purposes?

The latter. Roster snapshots only freeze a teams roster, not the positional eligibility of the players.

OPL 2023 have a go live date yet?
