So I hate to be pedantic, but this headline and article says “agreeing to a deal” but not “signed” - this is a little different and I’ve run into problems in the past where someone agreed and then backed out before signing and should not have been added to the player pool as a result.
I doubt that is going to happen for Kumar Rocker but I need an article that has the verb “sign” (can’t be that far away) because of this precedent.

Actually chasing this dumb thing down the rabbit hole, no one has confirmed that Kumar Rocker has actually signed the contract they’ve agreed to so I’m going to hold off for now.
