Penalty-free cuts issue

Hi - we had a new manager take over, and their penalty-free cuts also reset the salaries of the players they owned (including one they claimed on waivers after taking over) to $0. I found one other thread on this here Waiver wire and cuts seemingly broken

But it wasn’t clear to me as the commissioner whether I ought to intervene and reset the base salaries or whether this is working as it’s meant to, even if the interaction may not be directly intended.

Sorry, that’s for league 1958 if you want to take a look. E.g. the Anthony cut

This is working as intended and you can just let the auctions reset values for the cut players.

I meant to add that this is a perfect description of in-season penalty-free cuts resulting in no waiver claims or minimum bids.
