What is used for a tiebreaker in the standings for roto leagues for purposes of payout? Or do they split the prize money?
The prize money is split if two of the prize teams end up with the same number of points in a roto league.
Do they split the combined 1st and 2nd place prizes or just 1st?
If they only split first, 3rd place would get 2nd place money? How would that work?
If 2 teams tie, they split 1st and 2nd money.
If 3 teams tie, they split 1st-3rd money.
If 2 teams tie for 2nd they split 2nd and 3rd money.
If 2 teams tie for 3rd they will only split 3rd place money.
That is how money splitting generally works for prizes.

If 2 teams tie for first, the next team in the standings finishes 3rd.
If 2 teams tie for 2nd, the next team in the standings finishes 4th.
