Never played weekly lineup before. I thought my players would lock today 5 minutes before the game, but games have been played and positions are all still green and I can move players around my lineup. Guys who played yesterday are locked. Is this a feature? Thanks, Bruce
Yep! players lock at their first game of the week
There does seem to be a bug that players today did not lock as they should have…
Stats seem to be accruing, but positions haven’t locked on the lineup page as they usually do.
Gonna need a lot more details than that
Yankees and Giants players from yesterday’s openers are locked and grayed out.
Anyone who played today is showing up on the today’s stats page and stats are accruing, but are not greyed/locked out on the lineup page. Today’s debuts can be moved in and out on the lineup page without any changes to stats.

I realize I misread the first post - once players lock for the week, they should be locked. Doesn’t sound like that is happening! I’m looking into it.
I have a lead on what is going on. It is related to the first week of the season starting on a Wednesday, and the lock day being on a Monday. I should have a fix for this today.
This should be fixed now. Players were locked yesterday, and the site should reflect that correctly.
It seems to have moved anyone who was in lineups but hasn’t played yet, such as Royals and Braves players, out of the lineup and onto benches.
Can you move them back in, or are they locked despite not having played yet?
Testing locally indicates to me you can move players back in to the lineup. The issue here was what “date” everything was stored to, and how that changes since the season started mid-week.
If anyone in a weekly league runs into an issue with this, they should email me, but the Braves and Royals don’t play for another 7 hours so I think there’s time to get everything sorted.
I was able to move everyone back in…just know there’s folks in my league who set their lineups, don’t check back in until the weekend, and now have empty slots in their lineups that they once had filled.

I figured out how to restore the lineup positions for players who haven’t played yet. If you want me to do this for your weekly lineup league, email help@ottoneu.com. It may overwrite any changes made today, but the site will entirely reflect how your lineup was set Wednesday.
Alternately if you are in a weekly league and you had a guy moved to the bench today, you can just put him back in your lineup.

I have an observation that may be related to this issue. I am in a weekly league, 1490, and it looks like stats from 3/27 were recorded in Today’s Stats but not in team production or the standings. I checked my team 10102 and one other 10025 to verify.
Both team production and standings are up to date in my non-weekly leagues.

I’m going to run the restore for every team in a weekly lineup league. This should make everyone’s lineup look how they looked before 11am on Friday. If you fixed your lineup between 11am and 7pm on Friday, those changes will be “overwritten”, but overwriting those changes just means restoring to the state before 11am, when your lineup was already how you wanted it.
I should have this fixed later today and will update this thread when its fixed. I’ll make sure to re-run scoring for all weekly lineup leagues as well.
This won’t affect anyone next week, and will make the weekly lineup stuff more robust going forward.

I’m testing out a solution that will solve this for all 16 weekly lineup leagues. I want to make sure to get this right, so it may not be until later tonight or early tomorrow.
- All lineups will be as of Friday around 11am ET
- All scoring will be re-run so stats will be accrued as of those lineups
No data loss here, just moving lineups that were incorrectly tied to Wednesday 3/25 over to Monday 3/23.
Running some final tests this morning and trying to get this done before games start today.

I’ve run the lineup correction and lineups have been restored, I believe correctly. Some marginal changes have been overwritten, and if you have questions about any specific changes (I moved X into my lineup on Friday and now he is not there) let me know: help@ottoneu.com.
Scoring should be updated shortly and reflect these lineups correctly. Since next week (and every other week) has a Monday in it, this won’t be a problem again this season, and the fix I made will make sure this isn’t a problem next season either, where lineups aren’t actually locked in weekly lineup leagues.
