I’m the commissioner for an inaugural Ottoneu league with friends, and I’m struggling to decide whether I should put in place a Starts cap for SP’s in my league. Do you guys have any recommendations on that front? I just want to curtail waiver wire abuse by teams picking up and dropping pitchers all the time just to rack up pitching stats.
I prefer 9 GS/week, it’s probably the closest to the 1,500 IP limit non-H2H points leagues have.

I would agree, I’ve found 9 GS/Wk to be a good balance.
We used to do 10 in my league and switched to 9. 10 was too many. 9 is just right.
On friendly advice, I would remind the league that its 9 starts per matchup in regular season rather than per week. If you do a 2-week championship it’s 9 starts per week, not 18 per matchup.
