I am commissioner in a league that is drafting tomorrow. There is a team without an owner. Someone has generously offered to do cuts and draft for the team. How do I make this person a temporary owner?
Add them as a manager using Commish Tools
I can’t because the team is abandonned, so the red band says the team has to be claimed. The team is 3498 (I Love Steroid Users) in league 490 (Ottoneudist Colony). Well, if the team was expired because no one has paid for it, someone will need to pay for it for the upcoming season. That can be done on the Claim page.
Could I create a second account, claim the team, make the proxy owner a second owner and then remove myself from the team?
Well, you’d have to pay for that team and it’d be linked to your current team (if a non-prize league).
I don’t mind paying for the season. I just don’t want it to look liked I’m running two teams. It’s a $20 league.
You can read the thread I just shared about paying for more than one team in a $20-tier league and then sort it out however you want given that information. But it seems like the team in question will need to be paid for before any next steps can take place.
