The Mets and Braves are playing a makeup game on Thursday that was rained out hours before it was to begin in April. On the lineup page that day, it shows both have the day off.
I’ll make sure our schedule provider is aware but I’d expect it to show up Wednesday
Thanks Niv!
I see a Braves-Mets game on the lineup page this Thursday. I was off by a day!
I see it now! Thanks again!
Related, if that game gets postponed further to Monday as a result of the hurricane - would season long leagues include those stats or is it a hard cutoff on Sunday?
Yes
Just to summarize so it is summarized somewhere:
H2H matchups that end Sunday will not be extended.
The Ottoneu season will be extended as necessary to cover all MLB regular season games, which includes tiebreaker games, etc. This will extend season-long leagues.
Waivers and auctions will correspondingly be extended to be available/active through the entire MLB regular season. If there’s a game on Monday, auctions will have to be wrapped by 11:59pm ET Monday instead of 11:59pm ET Sunday.
There are more details in the threads I’ve shared in the previous post but I believe this is a full summary.
The season will be extended to September 30 later tonight. This will affect auctions and waivers for all leagues and statistics for season-long leagues.
This has been done - the season now ends on Monday, September 30.
How does a doubleheader work for the games cap? If Matt Olson is in my lineup for game 1, and plays my 162nd game at 1b (reaching my season limit), do I still get his stats from game 2?
Whole thread about doubleheaders and the game caps here:
For weekly roto leagues: is this a new 1 day week, or is the final week extended until 9/30?
This is answered here
With a doubleheader planned for Monday, 9/30/24, I’m unsure how those two games will factor into playoff scoring. Will those hitting stats count toward the head to head playoff finals? Will those pitching starts be available and will they count toward the limits for the second week of a two-week matchup?
Please read this thread.
Scenario which I imagine some folks will be facing on Monday 9/30 - having one game left for the season at a hitter position and a player who may play two games tomorrow. Will Today’s Stats show stats for the whole day, then back out the second game at the end of the day? Or, will Today’s Stats automatically block the stats for the second game?
This is already addressed here
Ok, got it - both games count if a player plays in both games of the doubleheader. Thanks, Niv.
I currently have two OF games remaining and two Mets OFs tomorrow (Winker and Taylor). If they both play in the first game, I assume only one of them counts as my “last” game at the OF position, so that only one of them would count if they also play in the second game? Do you know how the system determines which of the two of them that is?
