Looks like smith reverted. Not a big deal but if you’re bored could you fix again? Thanks!

Sure, should trigger overnight.

Can we do the same with Matt Mclain (update his positional eligibility from UTIL to 2B/SS)? He was injured in 2024 but had 33 MLB starts at 2B and 52 MLB starts at SS in 2023.

Nope. 5 games for a position player is very different than 5 games for a pitcher.

Agreed. But Mclain had 55 games at SS. And there was another position player in the thread above that was similar

Feel free to link to what you’re talking about but I don’t think it was after this post from 2022

I just claimed a team and Isaac Parades is at 2B, but it shows that he is 1B/3B. Is this an error or is there a reason why?

He may have been left at 2B in the Roster Organizer by the previous manager. He won’t be playable in a lineup at 2B this year.

OK thanks. Man I need a 2B now!

Can you make Andrew Painter a SP or RP instead of utility?

Andrew Painter will have SP eilgibility tomorrow morning.

Roki Sasaki seems to be listed as util only.

Sorry, I see this has to be corrected manually.

The same is true for Brody Brecht.

Is there a way of making these requests that’s easier for you?

I’ll get Roki Sasaki SP overnight.

Brody Brecht won’t be on a major league roster on Opening Day and doesn’t have a FanGraphs profile, so those things will need to happen (FG profile, major league roster) before there is any discussion about manually giving him any eligibility.

Hi – I only see Chase Burns as a UT in Ottoneu but he’s a pitcher:

Thanks.

Hi, Can I confirm my understanding of the rules? I guy like Endy Rodriguez didn’t play last year, so he is currently only a UT. If I draft only two catchers, and he is one of them, that means my team would accrue NO stats until Endy appears in 10 games as catcher (or starts in 5)?

A lot of the details in this question are not super relevant to the answer, I think.

If a position player didn’t play last year, they will need to earn eligibility this year.

Eligibility is earned with 5 GS at the MLB level, 10 appearances at the MLB level, or 20 appearances at the minor league level.

This is directly out of the rules

Chase Burns will get SP sometime during the season - you can remind me in this thread if it isn’t addressed and he’s actually pitching in the minors.
